DISCORD RULES

The Discord server is mission control - the place players, staff and visitors meet. These rules keep the signal strong and the noise low.

This Discord is the front door to the city. We keep it clean so new players don't walk straight into toxicity on their first visit. Every member is a welcome committee.
Moderation is case-by-case. We don't have a fixed "3 warnings = ban" ladder. A single egregious act can end you. Habitual low-grade nonsense will too. Act like an adult.

Respect & Conduct

  • Zero Discrimination

    Racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or religious hate = instant permanent ban. No warnings.

  • No Harassment

    Don't pile on, don't brigade, don't DM someone who asked you to stop. Screenshots move faster than memory - we keep them.

  • Keep OOC Civil

    Disagreements happen. Snarky is allowed, hostile is not. If you can't tell the difference, step away from the keyboard.

  • No Dog-piling Staff

    If a staff decision annoys you, open a ticket. Public comment threads on staff calls get locked immediately.

Channel Discipline

  • Read the Channel Topic

    Every channel has a topic. If the channel is for PD clips, don't post civilian builds there.

  • Use Threads

    Ongoing conversations go to threads. Don't flood main channels with back-and-forth.

  • No Cross-Posting

    Posting the same message across 5 channels will get it deleted and you warned.

  • #memes Is For Memes

    Don't turn it into #drama-hour.

Content & Media

  • No NSFW

    Discord isn't the place. Gore, nudity, shock content - all zero-tolerance.

  • Clip Channels Only

    Gameplay clips go in #clips. Screenshots in #screenshots. Longer videos in #videos.

  • Spoiler Lore

    If a clip ruins an active storyline for players not involved, spoiler-tag it.

  • No External Promotion

    No advertising other FiveM servers, paid resources, or competing Discords. Period.

OOC Boundaries

  • IC Stays IC

    In-character beef doesn't carry into Discord DMs. Don't snitch in-character via Discord, don't metagame via Discord.

  • Don't Spoil Scenes

    If you witnessed something your character shouldn't know, don't spoil it in general-chat.

  • Rumor Mill

    #city-gossip is for IC rumors. Everything posted there is potentially overheard - act accordingly.

  • Staff DMs

    Don't DM staff about tickets. Use the ticket system. Unsolicited DMs are ignored and logged.

Reporting & Appeals

  • Open a Ticket

    All rule-break reports go through #open-a-ticket. Include timestamps, server video, and Discord IDs.

  • Evidence or It Didn't Happen

    Staff don't rule on vibes. Unshadowbanned 1080p footage with timestamp beats a paragraph every time.

  • Appeal Channel

    Banned? Appeal in #ban-appeals. One appeal per ban. Arguing doesn't unban you.

  • Ghost Reports Ignored

    Submitting an anonymous report without evidence gets you nowhere. We log EVERYTHING, even false reports.

Accounts & Identity

  • No Alts Without Approval

    Secondary Discord accounts in the server require staff approval. Dodging bans with alts = extended perm.

  • Display Name

    Display name should match or reference your in-city character. Tags allowed (e.g., [PD] LastName) for staff/LEO/EMS.

  • Profile Conduct

    Profile pics, bios and statuses follow the same content rules as messages.

  • Voice Chat

    Voice channels follow the same rules as text. Hot mics, noise trolls, and soundboards get kicked.
